Activities:

Scholarships Grant are exemptions given in the form of a partial or total cost of education for students as well as the provision of financial assistance to students who are financially inadequate or have outstanding achievements.
Implementation:

Scholarships are awarded to students through online selection at the University official website (beasiswa.ub.ac.id); the scholarships offered are classified into three categories as follows:

- Scholarships for students who are financially inadequate

- Academic achievement scholarships which are awarded to students who have high academic achievements and are placed in the top 10 in their major

- Non-academic achievement scholarships which are awarded to students who excel in the academic level of national level or active students at MFI-UB (UB sovereign institutions)

In this case, the PS works together with the faculty to provide information related to the scholarships to the students.

Some of the scholarships awarded to the students of PSIG (2012-2012) are:

  • Academic Achievement Scholarship or PPA (Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik) for sophomores, juniors, and seniors
  • Student Study Aid or BBM (Bantuan Belajar Mahasiswa) for sophomores, juniors, and seniors
  • Student Study Aid or BBM (Bantuan Belajar Mahasiswa) for freshmen
  • Supersemar
  • Bank Indonesia
  • Angkasa Pura
  • Ministry of State Enterprises
  • Foundation Charity Services A & A Rachmat
  • PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk
  • Bidik Misi Scholarship for Freshmen Batch I dan II
  • Pertamina

Number of PSIG Students who has been awarded the scholarships is:

  • In 2010, it was recorded that there were 94 students (mention the Name, Student Number, and the type of scholarship awarded)
  • In 2011, it was recorded that there were 57 awardees granted the scholarships
  • In 2012, it was recorded that there were 48 awardees granted the scholarships
