Work units carry out a review of the quality management system periodically, based on the needs of the organization, to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system in compliance with the requirements of the quality objectives and customer satisfaction.

Management overview includes the re-assessment of audit results, customer feedback, process performance and product conformity, status of preventive measures and corrective actions, past management overview follow-up, changes that could affect the quality management system, and suggestions for correction.

The overview output is in the form of data that is useful for strategic planning to support the improvement of quality management system performance. The overview of quality management system covers all decisions and actions related to the correction of the effectiveness of the quality management system and its processes, the corrections on the related product to customer requirements, and necessary resources.

                 The management overview is conducted periodically at least twice a year and is coordinated by MR. The management overview includes the internal audit after the Quality Internal Audit is completed by holding a meeting between the Head of Department, MR, UJM Team, and unit coordinator in attempt to see, evaluate the AIM results and improve the quality if there is any deficiencies and to prevent any irregularities as well as to improve the quality if the result of the AIM is good. Besides, it also evaluates the quality objectives that have been established well in relation to the teaching and learning process as well as customer satisfaction evaluation result. The Performance audit of each area is completed periodically at least once a year and is coordinated by MR.

The results of the management overview will be communicated to all lecturers and educational staff at department regular meetings. Records from management overviews are maintained. SMM Overview includes scheduled periodic review of the procedures / instructions and support system, student satisfaction, assessment criteria, the evaluation result, design overview and curriculum development. As a result of the SMM overview, The Head of Department carries out a follow-up to improve the performance of the SMM and its processes.
